The Porsche Taycan is powered by two Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors working off a compact Performance Battery to give you an all-electric powerhouse performance. Also available is the Performance Battery Plus, which gives some extra oomph to certain models of the Taycan.

Your choice of model and battery configuration can affect multiple aspects of your drive, including your Taycan’s maximum driving range. Let’s take a closer look at how far you can go behind the wheel of the Porsche Taycan’s various configurations. Starting with the base Taycan, you can expect an EPA-estimated range of 200 miles. Other versions of the Taycan will provide the following ranges:

• Taycan with Performance Battery Plus – EPA-estimated range of 225 miles
• Taycan 4S – EPA-estimated range of 199 miles
• Taycan 4S with Performance Battery Plus – EPA-estimated range of 227 miles
• Taycan Turbo with Performance Battery Plus – EPA-estimated range of 212 miles
• Taycan Turbo S with Performance Battery Plus – EPA-estimated range of 201 miles

The output of the Porsche can also vary due to these multiple configurations. Starting from 402 horsepower on the base Taycan model, you can experience up to 750 horsepower with the Performance Battery Plus. Which Taycan model is the best? The choice is yours!

Charging Your Taycan

Of course, all that range and power are only good if your Taycan has enough juice to use them. Luckily, there are multiple ways to keep your Porsche charged and ready whether you’re at home or on the go.
